Netflix continually updates their website layout every few weeks which causes FlixQueue to break. The main functionality of FlixQueue, the queue reordering, is now built into the FlixQueue web site.

I have made a few changes to the source code over the past year for my personal use but have not released it because of the lack of community interest in FlixQueue. About half of the functionality of FlixQueue is currently broke and would take a day are so to fix. Each time that Netflix changes their website I would have to spend the same amount of time making the changes to the code.

If there is interest I can upload updated versions to the website as I make them.

What functions do you use in FlixQueue?

I can release the current version that I have but there is still about half of the functionality broken. The queue, search and extractor portions are working fine. Because of the length of time it takes for me to fully roll out a new version I will post a new versions on the downloads page ( http://5hyphen.com/downloads.html ) without all the auto update and version controls.

I’ve read somewhere that that Netflix is looking into creating an interface (API) for third party programs. This would allow me to modify the code once and it should not break after that point. http://www.hackingnetflix.com/2008/03/n ... rking.html

You can download a new version here:

This version was built with Visual Studio 2008 so it may require that you upgrade your .NET framework to v2, v3 or v3.5

Let me know if it works for you.
